Stainless Steel Settling Tank ApiNord® Combo + Heating

Take honey processing in your honey house to the next level with the ApiNord® combined system. This assembly solves a common problem during honey extraction and straining – honey that thickens or crystallizes when cooling, which can quickly clog regular strainers. The integrated immersion heater maintains honey at optimal consistency, so straining proceeds smoothly even with thick, viscous or partially crystallized honeys (including honeys with higher melezitose content).

Why Choose the Combo Version

The foundation is the proven stainless steel settling tank (sump) working on the principle of baffles – honey naturally settles in it and impurities, wax residues and foam separate from the clean fraction. The Combo version additionally adds a powerful ApiNord® immersion heater that stabilizes honey temperature during straining. The result is gravitational, smooth flow without constant supervision and without unnecessary downtime due to clogged strainers.

Precise Temperature Control and Gentle Processing

The immersion heater is equipped with its own thermostat with adjustable range 30–85 °C. The temperature sensor located at the base of the heating element ensures more precise heating control. Due to its weight, the heater gradually "warms through" even into solid honey, which significantly helps when working with crystallized or solidified honey. The heater can also be used independently for liquefying honey in 25kg containers (diameter approx. 25 cm).

Stainless Steel, Hygiene and Safe Operation

The entire assembly is made of food-grade stainless steel – it is durable, easy to clean and meets hygienic requirements for working with honey. When using, follow safety principles: the heater is an electrical device, so protect the control unit from water ingress and use protective gloves when handling the hot heating element.
