Dadant frame pieces

Dadant frame slats are available in straight and Hoffman variants. Most of the slats are made from linden wood. One pack of frame slats allows you to produce 50 bee frames. We offer slats in Dadant sizes 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 1/1 (Original), and Jumbo. If you prefer straight frames, don’t forget to add spacers to your order. For all slat types, we also provide a wide selection of different wires for frame wiring. We use linden wood, which contains few knots, offers the necessary strength, and is suitable for nailing thin frame parts. Linden wood is light, flexible, easy to work with, and sufficiently strong despite its low weight. Its homogeneous structure (without sharply distinguishable growth rings) prevents splitting and is ideal for assembly.
