Stainless Steel Wax Melter with Gas Burner - Larger Size
Larger wax melter - stainless steel wax melter + gas burner. The melter is designed for easy and quick melting of wax from frames or honeycombs using water steam heated by a gas burner. The stainless steel steam wax melter consists of a water tank and a basket for frames or honeycombs. The gas burner is not included but can be ordered separately. You can find the option to add the gas burner above the cart button. We supply a high-quality Czech industrial gas burner Mega Zeus with the melter.

Practical stainless steel melter with gas heating.
The wax melter is designed for extracting wax either directly from old wax frames or from cut-out honeycombs using steam. The stainless steel melter consists of an inner container with water and a basket for frames or honeycombs. A separate component of the melter is a gas burner that creates steam by heating the tank. The stainless steel melter can also be used on a stove or other fireplace while maintaining safety.
The melter must not be insulated, otherwise steam would not condense into water and recirculate. The steam heats the wax and the cocoons sink to the bottom where there is a sieve. The entire melting process takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on the heating intensity and the age of the combs. You can also put old cut-out combs or drone comb in reasonable quantities along with complete frames. You cannot put a large amount of cut-out frames in the melter as it would result in a very lengthy melting process. The wax flows out continuously by itself into a container placed next to the melter. In the second end, which is bent upward, you can monitor the water level in the melter without having to open it.

Instructions for using the stainless steel melter: Fill the container with water up to the level of the outlet. Fill the basket with frames or a combination of frames and cut-out honeycombs. Cover the device with a lid. Place the burner under the melter so that the flame heats the entire bottom surface of the melter. Wait for steam to form and for the melted wax to flow out. This takes approximately 30 to 50 minutes depending on the color of the honeycombs... After melting the wax, remove the frames with cocoon remains, clean the basket from cocoons and residues with a scraper, and insert a new batch. After melting the wax from the inserted batch, check the water level and refill if necessary. After completing the entire process, turn off the burner and close the valve on the propane-butane tank. Finally, while still warm, clean the basket including the holes and the space under the basket from any remaining residues to prepare it for new use. Also, of course, pour out the water to prevent it from becoming moldy as it contains sugars.
