Make your work in the apiary easier with the large-capacity Mellarius wax melter. The device is designed for one of the most time-consuming activities in beekeeping – melting wax and simultaneously cleaning frames. Thanks to its thoughtful construction and included gas burner, you get a fast, reliable and location-independent solution that you'll appreciate when processing old comb and when handling larger quantities of material during the season.

Flexible heating according to apiary site conditions

Mellarius offers a practical choice of heat source. The basic equipment includes a 7 kW gas burner that quickly heats water and maintains the necessary power for steam generation even in colder weather. If you prefer an electric solution, the melter is equipped with a reduction fitting for connecting an external steam generator. You can easily adapt the operation depending on whether you're working in the workshop or directly at the hives.

Stainless steel construction that lasts for years

The entire container is made of food-grade stainless steel with a thickness of 0.8 to 1 mm, so it withstands thermal stress and regular handling well. Strong and smooth welds thanks to plasma welding contribute to long service life and easy maintenance. The removable basket and smooth inner walls facilitate cleaning after melting – wax residues and impurities have nowhere to get caught.

Large capacity and cleaner wax

The inner basket holds up to 18 frames at once, which significantly speeds up processing of larger quantities of old comb. The construction is designed so that water drainage and wax drainage are separated – both have separate outlets, so the resulting wax comes out cleaner. Thanks to the included brass plugs, the melter can also be hermetically sealed and used as a larger container for sterilizing (disinfecting) frames or tools, which helps in disease prevention in bee colonies.
