Honey spinner SIPA set II
Have you extracted honey with a higher water content and want to prevent fermentation and flavor deterioration? The ECO honey dryer (SIPA® Honey Cascade Set III) offers beekeepers a fully integrated and cost-effective solution for controlled reduction of honey moisture.
SIPA Honey Dryer Set II: Cascade System for Gentle Honey Moisture Reduction
Have you extracted honey with higher water content and want to prevent fermentation and loss of flavor? The SIPA® Honey Cascade Set II honey dryer offers beekeepers a compact and economical solution for controlled moisture reduction while maintaining desired honey quality. It's ideal for small to medium batches – helping to fine-tune consistency so honey meets standard and strict storage requirements. Thanks to the gentle process, there's no unwanted overheating; honey retains its natural aroma and valuable compounds that customers care about.
How Does the Cascade Dryer Work?
Dehumidification proceeds clearly and under control. Honey with higher moisture content is first gently heated in the upper part of the assembly using a heating system to achieve proper fluidity. It then slowly flows through a six-stage cascade, where excess water evenly evaporates from its surface. Dry air is provided by a connected dehumidifier operating in a closed circuit. The processed honey flows after approximately 30 minutes directly into a prepared lower container (not included). If the honey is too thin after heating, a short pause and waiting for crystallization to begin is recommended – this naturally slows the flow without negatively affecting quality.
Main Advantages for Beekeepers
The key advantage is the closed air circuit. Honey doesn't absorb moisture from the surroundings, and the risk of contamination from dust or impurities in the honey house is significantly reduced. The system is designed without moving parts directly in the honey flow, meaning less wear, easier maintenance, and higher hygienic standards. The entire assembly is space-saving, quickly ready for operation, and assembly doesn't require complex tools. Additionally, individual components (such as the heating system) can be used independently during the season according to current honey processing needs.
What Does the Complete Set Include?
SIPA® Honey Cascade Set II is designed for simple assembly and the package includes:
- SIPA® Air Dehumidifier (prod. no. 5955)
- SIPA® Honey Cascade (prod. no. 5956) including assembly and operating instructions
- ApiNord® ApiTherma Set Heating System (prod. no. 5920) – heating coil, container with strainer, and tensioning ring with uhelo cloth (filter fabric)
Note: Bottling container and stand are not included in the set. Use your own suitable container to collect the honey.
