Electric Hive Cart Mellarius for Modern Beekeepers

The electric hive cart Mellarius was designed with the needs of beekeepers in mind who want to protect their backs while working more efficiently. This is not just an ordinary hand truck, but a well-thought-out device designed for handling entire hives, heavy supers full of honey, and other beekeeping loads.

Back Relief and Less Physical Strain

Beekeeping brings joy, but also considerable physical strain. The Mellarius cart significantly reduces this strain. Thanks to electric drive and reliable lifting mechanism, it can safely lift and transport up to 100 kg. The beekeeper thus focuses only on controlling direction and speed. Maximum lifting height of 107 cm allows comfortable manipulation of supers at height without the need for bending or strenuous lifting.

Reliable in the Apiary and During Transport

The cart construction combines stainless steel and aluminum, ensuring long lifespan even during demanding operation in beekeeping. Large wheels together with a powerful 620 W motor easily handle terrain irregularities and allow smooth travel up to 6.5 km/h. A practical advantage is the self-loading function, thanks to which the cart can be loaded into a van or larger car without outside help, for example when moving with bee colonies.

Suitable for Common Hive Systems

Adjustable clamps with grip range from 38 to 70 cm ensure high versatility. The Mellarius cart is compatible with most used hive systems, such as Dadant, Langstroth, Zander, or Czechoslovak. Firm and stable grip minimizes the risk of hive movement during transport and ensures calm of the bee colony.

Sufficient Endurance for the Entire Working Day

Energy is supplied by a modern lithium-ion battery, which allows up to 4 hours of continuous operation. This provides enough time to service even larger apiaries without the need for frequent recharging. Full battery charging takes approximately 6 hours, so the cart is ready for next use after each night.
