Organize your hive work and keep the honey super brood-free. The metal queen excluder (queen grid) serves to keep the queen bee in the brood chamber and prevent her from entering the honey super. Worker bees pass through the excluder without problems, while the queen (and drones) are separated. During honey harvest, you don't have to spend time sorting frames with brood and you get clean honey frames ready for extraction.

It has precisely calibrated spacing that allows workers to pass through but prevents the queen and drones from entering the honey super.
