Microcrystalline structure that bees readily accept

The advantage of APIVITAL paste is its microcrystalline structure – the feed mass consists of very fine sucrose microcrystals (approx. 0.01 mm) that are embedded in syrup. The syrup prevents crystal agglomeration, so the paste doesn't harden in the hive, remains pliable and bees can easily consume it. In practice, this means smoother feed intake, less waste and reduced stress for the colony during periods when every energy saving matters.

When APIVITAL paste will be most useful to you

The paste is a universal helper for various phases of the season. It provides the greatest benefit especially in these situations:

1) Early spring and spring stimulation: When temperatures are low and bees cannot regularly fly for water, syrup feeding is often inappropriate. The paste contains water in bound form and bees can consume it directly from the top bars even in cooler weather. By providing feed, you also simulate food influx, thereby supporting development and smoother egg laying.

2) Nucleus feeding and queen work: When creating nucleus colonies, paste is practical and safe – it usually provokes less robbing than liquid feeding. It's also suitable for filling introduction cages when introducing or replacing queens.

Application is easy: divide the paste as needed (by cutting off part of the block or cutting the foil) and place on top bars under the cover. No cooking, no mixing, no extra work.
