The key benefit is the ability to melt whole frames – without time-consuming cutting out of combs. Simply place the frames in the basket and steam takes care of the rest. Capacity is approximately 24 frames measuring 39 × 24 (or corresponding quantity of Langstroth frames and other common sizes), making it suitable for medium to larger beekeeping operations.

Thanks to simultaneous use of two steam generators, the device reaches working temperature faster and steam passes more intensively through the entire container contents. Steam introduction below the screen ensures uniform heating from below. The result is quality separated wax and frames rendered so that comb residues only need easy final cleaning.

The wax extractor is manufactured in the Czech Republic from food-grade stainless steel 2mm thick. The construction is hand-welded with emphasis on strength and long-term use. Stainless steel resists corrosion and cleans well.

How to use the wax extractor for best results

Operation is simple. Fill the basket with whole frames or cut-out combs (with cut-out wax, use smaller quantities so the mass doesn't compact and block steam passage). Put on the lid and turn on both generators. Once wax starts flowing out, let the process run until wax stops flowing. Then remove frames and scrape off comb residues easily while still warm. We recommend cleaning the screen also while still warm, when residues remove most easily.
