The stainless steel steam melter consists of a solid stainless steel container and a sieve for frames or comb.

Maximum Efficiency and Energy Savings

The excellent stainless steel melter with one generator offers high efficiency and saves both energy and money. The steam melter is designed for wax extraction either directly from old wax frames or from cut-out comb using hot steam. It uses a generator as a steam source, which opens directly into the space under the sieve. This results in excellent and gradual melting from below. The steam heats the wax and the cocoons slide down to the bottom where the sieve is located. The obtained wax flows out automatically and continuously into a container placed nearby (not included), which minimizes losses and keeps your workplace clean.

Universal Capacity for Common Frame Sizes

This melter is ideal for quick melting of whole frames, so the annoying cutting out of combs is completely eliminated. The melter capacity is around 12 frames measuring 39x24 cm (more smaller frames will fit). The size is of course fully adapted for the worldwide Langstroth system. You can also insert old cut-out comb or drone comb in reasonable amounts along with whole frames. You cannot insert a huge amount of cut-out comb alone at once, as the layer would compress and melting would be very lengthy.

Instructions for Working with the Stainless Steel Melter

Working with this device is very simple and safe: Fill the basket with frames (possibly in combination with cut-out comb). Cover the device firmly with the lid and turn on the steam generator. Then just wait for steam to form and melted wax to flow out. After complete wax extraction, remove the frames with cocoon residues, clean the basket from residues with a scraper and you can immediately insert a new batch. Finally, we recommend carefully cleaning the basket while still warm, including the holes in the sieve, and also the space under the basket from residues that remain in it. This will perfectly prepare the device for further trouble-free use.
