In winter, they seek warmth and food, and if they get inside, they cause stress to the bees, destroy combs and stores, and can threaten the entire colony. With this grid, you can effectively reduce this risk.

The grid openings have a height of 8 mm – a proven dimension that keeps rodents out while allowing bees free movement. The guard does not prevent spring cleansing flights or debris removal and simultaneously supports continuous hive ventilation. Thanks to this, it helps reduce humidity and limit mold formation during the winter period.

Stainless Steel for Long Lifespan and Easy Customization

The guard is made of high-quality stainless steel resistant to corrosion, so it will last long-term even in harsh weather conditions. The standard length is 50 cm (500 mm) and you choose the height according to your hive type and entrance height. If you need a shorter length, you can easily trim the grid with tin snips. Installation is quick and uncomplicated.
