Why it pays to have a solar wax melter in your beekeeping equipment
Solar wax melter is among the basic tools for gentle and economical wax extraction. The combination of polished stainless steel body and highly permeable polycarbonate lid (double wall hollow sheet) helps to quickly create the necessary temperature for melting wax from frames as well as from loose comb (so-called wild comb).

All-stainless steel construction: Stainless steel doesn't corrode, doesn't absorb impurities, doesn't rot and is easy to maintain even when working with propolis and wax. The result is equipment that will really last a long time.
Practical capacity: Compact dimensions suit smaller and medium operations. You can insert up to 2 frames stacked on top of each other (e.g. DN, Zander, Langstroth or Dadant – brood frames).
Thoughtful interior design: The inner tray is equipped with a rotating perforated sheet for slumgum (residues after melting), so cleaning is quick and simple. Also included is a stainless steel tray for collecting clean wax.

For safe operation and long equipment life, follow these recommendations:
When handling, use heat-insulating gloves – the melter can heat up to very high temperatures in direct sunlight and there is a risk of burns. Place it on a solid, stable and non-flammable surface, out of reach of children and animals.
Warning: The melter is not intended for melting comb in plastic frames. High temperatures inside can cause deformation and permanent damage to the plastic.
