This melter is made entirely of stainless steel, including a strainer for filtering impurities and a wax collection tray.

A solar wax melter is one of the essential tools for gentle and economical wax rendering. The combination of a high-quality stainless steel body and a highly transparent polycarbonate lid (twin-wall sheet) helps quickly reach the temperature needed to render wax from frames as well as from burr comb (so-called wild comb). By using solar energy, no additional operating costs are incurred.

For safe operation and long service life of the device, follow these recommendations:

• Use heat-insulating gloves when handling – the melter can heat up to very high temperatures in direct sunlight and there is a risk of burns.
• Place it on a firm, stable and non-flammable surface to prevent tipping, and always keep it out of reach of children and animals.
• Do not move the device during operation – there is a risk of scalding from hot wax.
• Warning: The melter is not intended for rendering comb in plastic frames. The high temperature inside can cause deformation and permanent damage to the plastic.
