Polycarbonate solar melter will make it easier for you to work with frames and molds you want to paint. The melter is intended for easy processing of the beeswax. On a sunny day, we simply remove the melter into a sunny place, turn it towards the sun, and place it under a slight angle so that the wax flows a lot into the cabinet.

Stainless Steel Solar Wax Melter with Polycarbonate – Convenient Beeswax Extraction

Boiling frames in pots is often time-consuming, messy and full of disorder. Stainless steel solar wax melter with polycarbonate lid is a practical choice for beekeepers who want to obtain clean, yellow and fragrant beeswax without unnecessary work and without energy costs. The sun takes care of heating – you just insert old comb or frames and let the melter work.

Why choose a solar wax melter in this design

The main advantage is saving time and work. Classic boiling requires a heat source, supervision and subsequent washing of containers. Solar wax melter, on the other hand, works almost without operation. Thanks to the combination of stainless steel and polycarbonate, the interior space can heat up to approximately 100 °C on a sunny day. This is sufficient not only for rapid wax melting (melts at 60–65 °C), but also results in significant reduction of disease pathogens on melted frames and parts.

Gentle on frames, economical for operation

Melting is very considerate to your equipment. There is no mechanical stress on the wood and wiring remains intact and tight. After melting, just remove the frame while still warm (wearing gloves), shake off comb remnants and possibly clean with a spatula. Frames can thus be quickly prepared for reuse. Since the melter uses only solar energy, operation is cost-free and also ecological. Even one melter can process large amounts of old comb and frames during the season.

Simple operation and quick results

Use is easy: on a sunny day (ideally at outdoor temperature 20–30 °C) place the melter in full sun, turn it toward the rays and slightly prop it so that wax can flow by gravity into the stainless steel collection tray. The melting process usually starts within 15–20 minutes and you're done in about 25–35 minutes. The result is clean wax without coarse mechanical impurities.

Tip: Work carefully and use protective gloves – the interior of the melter is very hot during operation.
