This hive is suitable for 12 German standard frames in cold configuration with rails. It is made of 20mm thick wood and has multiple layers of glue. The stability is further supported by a rabbet joint at the corner connection. Two slats attached to the bottom protect the boxes from slipping. Two handle strips ensure very good handling. Wood exposed to weather should always be treated with a protective coating. With permanently mounted stainless steel support rails for 12 standard frames measuring 394 x 223 mm
