This hive is suitable for 12 German standard size frames in cold configuration with rail. It is made of 20mm thick wood and multiply glued. The stability is further supported by a rabbet joint at the corner connection. Two slats attached to the bottom protect the boxes from slipping. Two handle strips ensure very good handling. Wood exposed to weather should always be treated with a protective coating. With permanently mounted stainless steel support rails for 12 standard size frames measuring 394 x 223 mm
