Zander Hive 3 x 220 mm - Unassembled

Complete Zander hive according to Dr. Liebig made of solid white pine resistant to weather conditions. Unpainted and untreated, 20 mm thickness, glued and screwed. The hive assembly is for 10 frames and cold construction.

High bottom board with zinc-plated mesh, variable entrance opening.
3 x Zander supers for 220 mm high frames (supers may have stainless steel support rails, handles on the front and back sides of the super.) - Supers are in unassembled state.
Plastic varroa drawer.
Solid metal cover, galvanized/stainless steel

Wooden Zander hive made of solid wood in cold construction, suitable for Zander 10 Frame consists of:

Super dimensions: 520 x 420 x 230 mm
Frame dimensions: 420x220 mm

Wooden parts of the hives may contain knots. The hives are not pre-painted with any color or varnish and should be treated with a suitable coating before use. We therefore recommend repeated treatment with suitable paints that are bee-friendly and protect against adverse weather.
