Wax melter with press 35L - electric 230V
Wax Melter with Press 35 l – Electric 230 V: Maximum Wax with Minimum Work
Melting old comb and processing beeswax can be time-consuming and physically demanding in beekeeping practice. This woodenstainless steel melter combines steam melting with an integrated press, so you can move your wax work to a significantly more efficient and "cleaner" level. Thanks to its thoughtful design, it helps extract even the wax residues from old comb that usually remain in the cappings.

When Steam Isn't Enough, the Press Takes Over
The biggest advantage is the combination of two steps in one device. Hot steam gradually releases wax from old comb placed in the inner basket, and at the end of the process, a mechanical press comes into play, which "squeezes out" even the last residues from the basket. The result is higher yield and less waste, which you'll appreciate with every larger wax operation.
Stainless Steel That Lasts for Years, and Operation Without Complications
The melter is made from quality food-grade stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304) with a thickness of 2 to 5 mm. This ensures long service life, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning after each batch. The double-wall construction, where water (or heat transfer medium) is filled between the walls, ensures even heat transfer and significantly reduces the risk of wax burning, which can occur with single-wall containers.
The 3 kW electric heating (230 V) allows rapid achievement of operating temperature. A practical advantage is power regulation in 1 kW increments – once the jacket is heated, you can reduce power and save energy without loss of functionality.
Why Choose This Model
1. Higher Wax Yield: With conventional melting, up to about 20% of wax can remain in the waste (cappings). The integrated press helps squeeze out these residues.
2. Safer and Cleaner Operation: Electric heating eliminates working with open flame or gas burner. Operation is stable, safe, and with less mess around.
3. Durable Construction: Massive stainless steel handles long-term stress and pressure during pressing and resists corrosion well.

Tip for Beekeepers
If you want to achieve the lightest, pure yellow wax, ideally use rainwater or distilled water in the jacket. Hard water can clog the heating element with limescale and in some cases contribute to wax color change (graying, so-called saponification). With this melter, you get a reliable foundation for efficient and self-sufficient wax management.
