Wax melter and paraffin applicator - improved
Boiler for Paraffin Waxing and Wax Rendering with Stainless Steel Tank
This boiler for wax rendering and paraffin waxing represents a reliable choice for every beekeeper who needs to quickly, safely and in large quantities process wax foundation, frames or impregnate hive parts. Thanks to its spacious tank (150 l capacity) it allows easy handling even with a larger number of frames. The advantage is also the insulated upper rim, stainless steel tank and practical wheels, thanks to which you can comfortably move the boiler even through standard doors with a width of 80 cm. Efficient wax processing and hive paraffin waxing in one device. Suitable for small and larger beekeeping operations.
The device is the best-selling variant of boiler in its category and is designed for long life and safe operation in demanding beekeeping conditions. The fuel used is dry wood. The boiler is also equipped with a drain valve and robust construction for easy daily use.

Main Features and Advantages
-
Easy wax rendering directly with frames.
Stainless steel tank ensures clean results without impurities and unwanted wax discoloration. -
Comfortable handling thanks to wheels – spacious enough even for larger supers and hives.
-
Safe operation thanks to insulating rim, solid lid and drain valve.
-
Possibility of use also for paraffin waxing – ideal for impregnating supers, which extends hive life and eliminates mold and diseases.
-
Easy maintenance, durable construction and simple cleaning of stainless steel parts.
How to Use the Boiler – Wax
-
Before lighting, fill the tank at least halfway with water (approx. 90 l).
-
Immerse the comb with the frame directly into boiling water; wax will release and frames will remain clean.
-
Using a strainer, remove the resulting mixture of wax and cocoons.
-
Make sure the water level does not drop – refill as needed.
When working with wax, use protective equipment as wax is flammable and may overflow.
How to Use the Boiler – Paraffin
-
When paraffin waxing, always first remove the press and seal the opening with a steel plate.
-
Place at least 25 kg of paraffin in the tank, close the lid and start melting with a gentle fire.
-
Once the paraffin softens, add another batch up to the optimal amount (60–75 kg).
-
After melting, heat the paraffin to the required temperature 160–200 °C (depending on the type of parts and purpose). Check temperature with a thermometer.
-
Dip individual hive parts and after removal let them drip and cool.
-
After finishing, you can let the paraffin solidify and reheat later.
When working with paraffin, never leave the boiler unattended! Use quality protective gloves, suitable only for outdoor use.
Safety and Installation
-
Always place the boiler on a non-flammable surface in outdoor areas (concrete, tiles, etc.).
-
Connect the flue pipe to a chimney, or use at least 2 m of chimney pipes (must be well secured!).
-
Do not put iron objects in the tank – use only wood, plastic or stainless steel tools.
-
During first ignition, the firebox paint cures.
-
Always follow safety principles when working with hot water, wax and paraffin.
-
Extinguish any fires only with a fire extinguisher (not water) or by closing the lid.
Shipping
-
Delivery is made on a pallet.
