TO 82 lids, thanks to their precise construction and inner sealing compound, help protect honey from moisture, contaminants and unwanted odours from the surroundings. Quality Closure for Honey Jars
The lids are made of lacquered tinplate and have an RTS (Regular Twist Stepped) profile, which allows comfortable screwing and a firm seal on the jar. According to the manufacturer's specification Allans-DN, designation Honey Jahan -2, they are intended for food contact and offer good mechanical resistance during regular use. Temperature resistance up to 105 °C also allows use during pasteurisation, for example with syrups, fruit products or preserves. The TO 82 size is among the most commonly used sizes for honey jars, including popular larger jars.
