Queen excluder, metal, Zander Liebig 478 x 378 mm
Metal Queen Excluder Zander Liebig 478 × 378 mm
Clean Combs in the Honey Super and More Comfortable Honey Extraction
A metal queen excluder is part of the basic equipment in beekeeping when you need to reliably separate the brood chamber from the honey super. It prevents the queen bee from passing into the honey supers, so that combs intended for extraction are not used for brood rearing. Thanks to this, the honey super remains without brood and you get clean honey combs – with less effort during honey extraction and subsequent processing.

Solid Construction for Zander Liebig Hives
The excluder measuring 478 × 378 mm is designed for the Zander Liebig hive system. The grid is set into a solid galvanized frame around the entire perimeter, which increases dimensional stability and helps ensure precise fit between supers. Thanks to this, the excluder does not twist, does not bend, and serves well even with frequent handling during the season.
Easy Cleaning and Gentle Bee Passage
You will appreciate the metal construction especially during maintenance. Deposits of propolis and wax can be easily removed by scraping, or the excluder can be boiled without risk of damage or deformation. The rounded wires are also gentle on the bees – they allow smooth passage of workers into the honey super and minimize the risk of wing damage.
