OXUVAR oxalic acid 275 g

OXUVAR® is an approved veterinary medicinal product designed for the treatment of varroosis in honey bees. OXUVAR® has received approval from the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic and is supported by European Union subsidies. The active ingredient in OXUVAR® is natural oxalic acid, which is found in fruits and in large quantities in sorrel.

OXUVAR® 5.7% is available in two package sizes: a 275 g bottle, which is sufficient for treating up to 10 colonies by spraying, and a 1000 g bottle, which is enough for 40 colonies. For trickle treatment, the 275 g bottle is suitable for up to 15 colonies and the 1000 g bottle for up to 50 colonies.

Oxalic acid works on Varroa mites through direct contact and handling requires increased caution. When working with oxalic acid, it is important to use protective eyewear, acid-resistant gloves, and long sleeves.
