Harmony Perennial Nectar Mix for Bees - 1 kg

Ensure your bee colonies have rich, balanced and long-term forage. The Harmony perennial nectar mix has been specially developed to provide bees with a continuous and stable supply of nectar and pollen throughout the entire season. For beekeepers, this product represents enormous savings in time and labor, because thanks to its perennial character, there is no need for annual reseeding of the plot. Rich nectar flow leads not only to noticeably better honey yields, but also to excellent health condition and strength of the colony itself. The plants in this mix also naturally suppress the growth of unwanted weeds, enrich the soil and protect it from erosion.

The Secret of Success: Detailed Composition and Benefits of Individual Plants

This premium seed mix combines seven highly melliferous plant species, each of which has its own specific and irreplaceable significance for bees:

Common Buckwheat (30%): One of the most important late nectar sources. Buckwheat flowers produce nectar very intensively even during hot summer days when other plants are already withering. It provides beekeepers with valuable dark honey, which is typical for its distinctive spicy aroma and is exceptionally rich in rutin and minerals.

White Sweet Clover (18%): From a beekeeper's perspective, this is absolutely top-tier. Sweet clover is extremely drought-resistant and produces enormous amounts of nectar regardless of weather fluctuations. It is highly attractive to bees and the honey from it is very light, finely crystallizing and exceptionally sought after by customers for its delicious taste.

Phacelia (18%): Rightly called a "bee magnet". This undemanding plant blooms with beautiful blue-violet flowers and excels with extremely high nectar sugar content and enormous production of quality blue pollen. It ensures rapid colony development and the honey from it has a very delicate and pleasant aroma.

Red Clover (15%): A traditional component of quality meadows and pastures. For bees, it represents a persistent and very reliable source of valuable pollen, which is crucial for brood nutrition, and of course nectar as well. Moreover, as a legume, it enriches the soil with nitrogen, thereby supporting the growth of other plants in the mix.

Alfalfa (12%): Its greatest advantage is its deep root system, thanks to which it can draw water from great depths. This makes it a lifesaver for bees during periods of extreme summer drought, when surface plants no longer produce nectar. Alfalfa honey is high quality, light and crystallizes slowly.

Birdsfoot Trefoil (5%): This seemingly inconspicuous, yellow-flowering plant blooms very persistently from late spring until autumn. It reliably thickens the growth and provides bees with a continuous and stable source of excellent nectar and pollen, even on poorer and rocky soils.

White Clover (2%): Although its proportion is smaller, it has an irreplaceable place in the mix. It grows very quickly and provides bees with excellent white nectar with high sugar content. Honey from white clover is considered one of the highest quality – it is very light, delicious and has long shelf life.
