Nassenheider Professional - Formic Acid Evaporator (double pack)

The Nassenheider evaporator is a long-term evaporator for continuous evaporation of 60% formic acid used in Germany. The evaporator works on the principle of horizontal evaporation. The acid is drawn from the reservoir by a wick and transferred to a pad, from where it continuously evaporates.

The biggest advantage of the Nassenheider Professional evaporator compared to the Nassenheider Classic II evaporator is its easy installation. You don't need to attach the evaporator to a frame, and you don't have one frame position occupied by the evaporator - you simply place it on top of the super.

The evaporator is stably placed in a tray that prevents formic acid from leaking into the bee colony in case of an accident. Two of these plates (always in a double pack) form a compact case with complete accessories inside for storage after the season. The package includes 3 sizes of wicks according to the size of the hive. The formic acid reservoir volume is 290 ml.
