Conical metal cover for Zander/Langstroth hive. Practical and clever metal cover for outdoor use made of galvanized sheet metal. The metal cover for Zander and Langstroth with a height of 6 cm is designed not only for Zander and Langstroth hives from our range. Metal covers for Zander/Langstroth are manufactured according to production specifications from galvanized sheet metal or titanium-zinc sheet metal (both types of sheet metal are used in tinsmithing for outdoor elements). We recommend choosing some surface treatment for the metal, such as a protective coating or additional roofing, otherwise corrosion may occur. Between the metal cover and the super, insert a crown board and some hive insulation such as felt or polystyrene. This is especially important during the summer period to prevent the hives from overheating. The cover has bent edges on the bottom to prevent the beekeeper from injuring their hands when putting it on and taking it off.

Covers are supplied without insulation.
