Mellarius Transformer for wax foundation embedding 24 V
Mellarius Embedding Transformer for embedding stainless steel wires into foundation sheets - 24 V - (embedder)
Professional Mellarius embedding transformer for embedding stainless steel wire types. Innovative design with modern electronic fuse that disconnects the transformer in case of short circuit to prevent damage. At the same time, when the short circuit ends, the transformer reconnects, so you can immediately continue working (despite this protection, we strongly recommend and the manufacturer requires that you avoid short circuit situations. Short circuits damage the needle tips. These can be purchased as a separate product under code M3368).

How to embed foundation sheets? Foundation sheets are placed on the wires against the bottom bar, and bees will always build the gap at the top, whereas they struggle at the bottom. The contacts of the so-called embedding transformer are placed on the ends of the wires, and the wires heat up due to resistance and sink into the wax of the foundation. At that moment, it is necessary to remove the transformer contacts from the wire ends. You don't need to use any pad. Once you try it a few times, you'll develop a feel and judgment for when to remove the contacts to prevent melting through the foundation.
Operating instructions.
1. Insert the end with the flexible cord marked 230 V into the socket.
2. Make sure that the exposed ends are not connected to avoid a short circuit.
3. Place the frame wired with wire on a pad that fits inside the frame.
4. Place the foundation sheet on the wire and touch the ends of the wire with the banana plugs.
5. After embedding the wire into the foundation, let the wax cool and remove the frame from the pad.
