Universal Silicone Rubber Lukopren N 5221

Lukopren N 5221 is suitable for more intricate candle molds, it is more flexible and softer.

For less intricate models with one-sided relief, Lukopren N 1522 and N Super can be used for making one-piece molds.
For the production of beeswax foundation sheets, both the firm and harder Lukopren N 1522, as well as the softer and more flexible Lukopren N 5221 have gained popularity.

For casting candles of common shapes in a two-piece mold, Lukopren N Super is most commonly used. This rubber also has the highest flowability and copies even the finest relief. For more intricate candle models, it is more appropriate to choose more flexible and softer types of rubber such as Lukopren N 5221

Candles of classic composition are made from a mixture of paraffin and stearin, which is dissolved in a water bath. Recently, candles made from beeswax have become popular. The temperature when casting them is approximately 70°C.

the vulcanizate has very low adhesion to most substrates (can be peeled off), to increase it, it is necessary to use a base primer (Lukopren Primer A or N). When making molds, we recommend separating the model for easier demolding; silicone molds, due to their self-separating properties, are no longer separated when used. Lukopren N 5221 rubber paste can be easily colored using Pigment pastes. Silicone rubber can be simply glued or adhered with one-component sealant Lukopren S.
