Maximum strength and stability thanks to Hoffman frame

The foundation of this frame are Hoffman spacers. This clever profile of side bars ensures automatic maintenance of correct spacing between individual combs. Thanks to this, there is no need to use any additional spacers or nails. The widened upper part of the side bars lean against each other, whereby the frames in the super hold firmly and do not shift even during transportation or hive manipulation. This brings calm to the bees and comfort to the beekeeper.

Quality materials for long lifespan

Our frames are made from quality wood with minimal knot content. This is crucial for the strength of the entire construction – the frame does not warp and withstands heavy honey loads even at high speeds in the extractor. Side and bottom bars have a width of 25 mm, while the wood thickness is 10 mm (same as the top bar). This construction guarantees compatibility with all standard Langstroth hives.

Professional wiring with stainless steel wire and eyelets

The greatest benefit for the customer is the professional execution of the wiring. The frames are equipped with brass eyelets, which prevent the wire from cutting into the wood. Thanks to this, the wiring remains tight and does not loosen. For wiring we use beekeeping stainless steel wire with a diameter of 0.4 mm. The use of stainless steel is crucial – the wire does not corrode even when using treatments based on organic acids (e.g. formic acid) and ensures hygienic safety of honey.

Horizontal wiring is ideal for reinforcing the center of the future comb. Foundation made from beeswax is easily embedded on such a prepared frame, which makes building easier for the bees and allows them to use the entire frame area without cell deformations.
