Universal Use for Various Frame Sizes

A great advantage of this model is its wide compatibility with commonly used frame sizes. The drum with a diameter of 60 cm and the basket construction are adapted for frames up to a maximum size of 44.8 × 34 cm. You can easily extract frames such as 39×24, 39×27.5, 39×30, Langstroth system frames (137 to 285), Optimal (42×17, 42×27.5), Dadant, Czechoslovak (37×30), and other widespread variants. For shorter frames (e.g., 39×15, 39×17, Langstroth 159, or Optimal 42×17), you can additionally insert two pieces into the basket one above the other – instead of four frames, you can extract up to eight half-frames at once, which can significantly speed up honey extraction.

Durable Stainless Steel and Easy Sanitation

The honey extractor is constructed with emphasis on long service life and hygiene in the honey house. The drum is made of stainless steel with a thickness of 0.6 mm suitable for food contact. The conical bottom facilitates smooth honey flow and its emptying without unnecessary residues toward the 6/4" outlet valve. Cleanliness during extraction is protected by a top cover made of transparent plexiglass (3 mm) – no impurities get into the honey and you still have the extraction process under control.

Stable Operation and Safe Control

Unbalanced combs can shake many honey extractors. This model is therefore equipped with damping foot pads made of softened PVC (SOFT), which effectively absorb vibrations and contribute to stable, safe operation. The drive is provided by a quiet 24 V / 120 W motor powered from a standard 230 V mains supply, with control ensured by the clear MDD-01 controller.
