Dadant US 2/3 Super for Frames 482 x 159 mm with Finger Joints

All-wooden super for Dadant US hive configuration. Quality supers that are an ideal compromise between price and quality. They are made of 25 mm thick wood. Thanks to the use of finger joints, the connections of the super are very strong even without using screws or glue. The supers have milled handholds on the sides for easier handling.

These supers are supplied unassembled, and their assembly takes only a few tens of seconds. To assemble them, you will only need a hammer; thanks to the dovetail joint, it is not necessary to glue or screw the supers. To increase strength and durability, you can glue the joints with a suitable adhesive for outdoor use (preferably D4 wood dispersion adhesive).

The Dadant US hive is among the most widespread hives around the world. The sizes of individual supers are standardized. This super has an external dimension of 425x515 mm, its height is 169 mm. The internal dimension of the super is 375x465 mm.

Supers with finger joints are supplied unassembled. They do not have a pre-drilled entrance hole. These are supers produced in large series; occasionally a cosmetic defect (chipped edge, crack) may occur, which does not affect the function and lifespan of the super.
