Beekeeping is a wonderful occupation and hobby, but you cannot do without quality protection in the apiary. This beekeeping jacket (smock) with hat reliably covers the torso and arms and helps you work at the hives with greater peace of mind during inspections, feeding, and colony management. It is sewn from a sturdy, firm cotton fabric that significantly reduces stinger penetration while remaining sufficiently breathable for fieldwork.

Well-Designed Details for Safe Work with Bees

The jacket is designed to minimize areas where bees could get under the garment. The sleeves are shaped to tuck comfortably into beekeeping gloves. The sleeve cuffs and the bottom hem of the jacket are fitted with elastic, so the garment fits snugly and does not create unwanted gaps. In the waist area, there is also a rubber patch solution for a comfortable fit – the jacket stays in place and does not restrict movement when working with supers or handling frames.

The hat design is also practical: it is attached to the jacket with a detachable zipper. When moving around the apiary or during a short break, you can simply fold it back onto your back without having to take off the jacket. In the neck area, a collar and protective elements are added, enhancing safety in places where a sting is most unpleasant.

Important Notice

The material is durable and protects against the vast majority of stings; however, 100% protection cannot be guaranteed. In rare cases, a stinger may penetrate the fabric (e.g., when heavily perspiring and the fabric is pressed against the body). For a higher level of protection, we recommend wearing at least a thin layer of clothing under the jacket.
