This hive is suitable for 10 German standard size frames in cold configuration with rail. It is made of 20mm thick wood and multiply glued. The stability is further supported by a rabbet joint at the corner connection. Two slats attached to the bottom protect the supers from slipping. Two handle slats ensure very good handling. Wood exposed to the weather should always be provided with a protective coating.
