This hive is suitable for 10 German standard size frames in cold configuration. It is made of 20mm thick wood and has multiple layers of glue. The stability is further enhanced by a rabbet joint at the corner connection. Two strips attached to the bottom prevent the supers from slipping. Two handle strips ensure very good handling. Wood exposed to the weather should always be treated with a protective coating.
