Granulated lavender smoker fuel is a suitable choice for beekeepers who prefer natural materials and gentle, non-irritating smoke. Compared to some punk wood or cardboard, lavender creates smoke that doesn't unnecessarily "agitate" the bee colony, but helps suppress defensive reactions and facilitates comb manipulation.

Why choose lavender fuel

Calmer inspection process: Lavender contains aromatic substances that act gently and bees typically react more calmly after smoking. The smoke is dense and when properly lit, rather cooler, so bees retreat into the bee spaces and stay on the combs. You'll appreciate this during routine inspections, working with honey supers, and during more demanding interventions.

More pleasant smoke for beekeepers: Instead of a pungent odor, you get a distinctive herbal fragrance that is less "irritating to the nose" and often doesn't cling to clothing as much. Working with the smoker is therefore more comfortable, whether you're at the hives for a few minutes or the entire morning.

Even burning and economical dosing: Pressed granules (pellets) burn slowly and steadily, so you don't have to re-light or refill the smoker as often. The fuel can be used alone, or mixed with your favorite punk wood base to improve fragrance and effectiveness.

Form and packaging

The fuel is in the form of solid pressed cylinders that are easily scooped and dosed directly into the smoker. The granules are compact, hold their shape well, and usually dust less during handling than loose herbs. Depending on the size of your operation, you can choose packaging from 0.5 kg for hobby beekeeping up to 5 kg for larger apiaries.
