They are made from high-quality, pure beeswax, exclusively purchased within the Czech Republic. During the production process, the wax is disinfected several times for absolute microbiological safety, they are manufactured and pre-pressed absolutely identically, so you can be sure that you will always buy the same amount in 1 kg, which is approximately 18 foundation sheets. Most beekeepers attach them to the top bar of the frame, because bees can more easily build out the bottom gap, side gaps are kept the same size on both sides, 1 to 2 mm.

On some foundation sheet deliveries, a light waxy layer (patina, so-called wax bloom) may form on the surface during longer storage or storage in cold conditions. Wax bloom is a natural aesthetic change that does not affect the quality or functionality of the foundation sheets. You can easily remove it with warm air, by leaving it in the sun for a while, etc.

The manufacturer is a certified producer of foundation sheets. Every certified manufacturer is required to sterilize the wax during production at 117 °C for one hour, which removes disease-causing agents such as American foulbrood. The foundation sheets are produced without adding chemicals, meaning that no acids are used for cleaning the wax. Wax cleaning is done through gradual filtration.
