Stainless steel tangential honey extractor for 3 frames with electric drive is an excellent choice for beginning beekeepers and smaller hobby apiaries where 230 V connection is available. It offers a balanced price-to-quality ratio while being comfortable to operate even during smaller honey harvests. Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight (21 kg), it is easy to transport and doesn't take up unnecessary space during off-season. The smooth stainless steel drum, improved hinge construction, and practical flap valve facilitate assembly, disassembly, and quick cleaning after extraction.
Comfortable extraction and gentle approach to bee combs
Electric drive (24 V / 120 W motor with 230 V power supply) significantly reduces effort during honey extraction and saves time, especially with a larger number of combs. The MDD-01 control module is designed simply – speed is adjusted smoothly using a rotary control. An important advantage is the basket with diagonal frame positioning, which is very gentle on the combs. Honey can be safely extracted even with thicker honeys without excessive stress or damage to the comb. Included are also softened PVC pads (SOFT) that dampen vibrations caused by different frame weights – the extractor is more stable, quieter, and operation is safer.
Wide compatibility with frame sizes
The extractor construction is designed to accommodate most commonly used frame sizes across hive systems. The drum with a diameter of 50 cm and height of 61 cm accommodates frames up to a maximum size of 42 × 34 cm. You can easily extract sizes 39×15, 39×17, 39×24, 39×27.5, and 39×30. The extractor is also suitable for Langstroth 137–285 (including 159, 185, and 232), Optimal 42×17 and 42×27.5, Dadant, Czechoslovak 37×30, and others. With a tangential extractor, frames need to be manually turned during extraction, but for smaller operations, this is a proven, reliable, and long-tested solution.
Safe operation, certification, and service
During operation, you have the entire process under control thanks to the hinged lid made of transparent 3mm plexiglass, which prevents honey splashing and allows safe monitoring of extraction. The extractor meets hygienic and sanitary requirements and is equipped with CE certification. We provide a 24-month warranty on Lysoň extractors and ensure warranty and post-warranty service including availability of spare parts (valves, drive components, and electronics).
