Instructions for Use

Fill the evaporator with formic or acetic acid several hours before use to allow the absorbent material to soak evenly.

Place it in the upper part of the hive, or in a super with stored combs according to the chosen procedure.

Set the evaporation rate on the lid with regard to outdoor temperature and space size to prevent too rapid acid release and colony endangerment.

When using acetic acid on combs, ensure the space is sealed as well as possible (e.g., non-breathable "chimney" of supers) for maximum effectiveness against wax moth.
