Langstroth Beehive - Polystyrene for 10 Frames

Practical and affordable Langstroth beehive made of hardened polystyrene PS-E, suitable for outdoor use. Includes a varroa bottom board with mesh and plastic removable drawer. Also includes a deep (original Langstroth - 232 mm) super, two medium (2/3 Langstroth - 159 mm) supers, practical top feeder and a high cover. All made from hardened polystyrene, which has the best insulation properties of all materials used. All components have interlocking joints, making them fit together perfectly and creating a very stable hive assembly. The supers have molded handholds that make them easy to manipulate. The supers are equipped with practical plastic strips at the points where frames contact the supers, preventing accidental damage.

The practical, large feeder solves feeding problems. It can hold up to 10 liters of sugar solution (invert) in one fill. The feeder is also made of hardened polystyrene, making it lightweight and easy to handle. It has a practical slope to the lowest point where the bee entrance is located. The bee entrance is covered with a transparent plastic cap, so bees cannot drown in the liquid and at the same time do not come into contact with the beekeeper (they won't fly out when the lid is opened). The feeder is simply placed on the top super, and then you put the cover back on top of the feeder. It can be used only during the feeding season, or can be left on the hive year-round - thanks to its weight, it's not in the way.

No more problems with space. All polystyrene supers from our offer are supplied disassembled. You can easily assemble them from 4 parts (two long sides and two short sides). The individual parts fit together easily, and the super can be assembled without using any tools (or you can use a rubber mallet if needed). Similarly, the supers can be disassembled again to save space. The joints do not need to be glued. The hive itself does not need to be painted or otherwise surface treated. The weight of the entire hive (without frames and feeder) does not exceed 5 kg, with the feeder it's 6 kg. The weight of individual supers is around 1 kg, making them suitable for easy handling.
