When breeding queens, grafting larvae, or inspecting the health status of bee colonies, small details matter. This professional head-mounted magnifier leaves your hands free to work with frames, queen cells, or grafting tools while significantly improving visibility of detailed tasks. The combination of magnifying lenses and integrated lighting helps easily identify eggs and small larvae at the bottom of cells, even on darker combs.

Variable Magnification for Grafting and Brood Inspection

The optical system is designed so you can quickly adjust magnification according to the situation. Thanks to the combination of a fixed plano-convex lens, flip-down double lens, and additional rotating magnifier (monocle), you get a magnification range from 1.8x up to 4.8x (depending on the selected combination). In practice, you'll appreciate this when grafting, marking queens, and during quick diagnostic inspection of brood problems directly at the hive.

Lightweight and Comfortable Even for Extended Work

The magnifier is lightweight (approx. 160 g) and designed for everyday use in beekeeping practice. Hive box is secured by an adjustable head strap with velcro that easily adapts to head size. An advantage is the ability to use it with prescription glasses, so you don't have to change your regular vision setup and work remains comfortable.

Dual Illumination for Work in Poor Lighting Conditions

Two side lights (left and right) illuminate exactly the area you're looking at. Each light has its own switch and independent power supply, which increases reliability in the field. You'll especially appreciate the lighting when working at dusk, in a shaded apiary, or when inspecting darker combs, where fine details can easily be missed without additional lighting.
