The replacement absorption pad for the Swiss FAM Liebefeld evaporator is designed for long-term and even evaporation of formic acid. Thanks to the appropriately chosen material, it helps maintain controlled release of vapors in the hive.

High Absorbency and Precise Design

The structure of the refill increases the evaporation surface and promotes even distribution of the acid in the material. The highly absorbent sponge holds the required amount of formic acid, most commonly in concentrations of 60% or 85%. The dimensions of 21.5 × 19.5 cm correspond to the FAM evaporator construction, so you can easily insert the pad and quickly replace it as needed.

A properly chosen refill ensures more stable evaporation than improvised replacement materials, which may result in uneven acid release. After saturation and insertion into the FAM evaporator, the evaporation intensity can be regulated with the rotating disc according to current outdoor temperature and colony conditions.
