Cleaner Wax Through Effective Filtration

The bag is sewn from fine, loose-weave fabric made of 100% PES, which functions as a reliable filter during melting. You place the wax combs into the bag and during rendering, coarse impurities remain inside, such as cocoons from brood emergence, propolis residues, wood chips, and possibly wires. Only melted wax flows out. Since wax obtained directly from comb usually contains numerous solid impurities, using the bag significantly improves the purity of the resulting wax and saves your time and energy.

Durable Helper for Larger Batches of Wax

The 62 × 50 cm size is suitable for processing larger quantities of old comb and wax. The material is designed for work at high temperatures and can be used in solar wax melters, steam wax melters, and classic rendering in a pot. Polyester also absorbs less wax than cotton, helping to reduce losses of valuable raw material.

Practical Tips

Don't overfill the bag – wax will drain better and filtration will be more effective. After rendering, let the contents cool briefly; once the wax is still pliable but no longer flowing, the bag is easier to empty. Residues after rendering (slumgum) can be further used, for example, for compost. The bag is washable and designed for repeated use, making it suitable for regular operation.
